Notre Dame PAT Meeting 10-18-11
1. Treasury Report - Preliminary numbers are in from the Fall Fest and it looks like we’re $5,000 above last year.
Chris Nearing will have a full report by the next meeting.
2. Fall Fest – comments and suggestions:
- Haunted House was a great success;
- Train was also a great success – comments were to get train and blow-ups totally donated
- Early ticket sales
- Move race set-up and prayer to gym or closer to the school (where drop-off and pick-ups take place)
- Food – provide whiteboards for menu for all booths
- Leprechaun Race – place more parents on the Zenobia street corner to cheer kids on
- Pumpkin Sale – approach Miller farm (or other businesses) about donating pumpkins for decoration and
for sale items.
3. Trunk & Treat – will be held 10-22-11 from 6-8PM
6-7PM Games
7-8PM Trunk/Treat
Still need volunteers
4. Teacher Items
There was some concern from teachers on the percentage of prizes per classes because some student
pledges were more than others.
Also, most teachers/parents liked the shirt adhesive tags instead of the pinned tag for the Leprechaun
Race. The only problem what if taken off too many times the adhesive wouldn’t work on the class
posters.
5. Scholastic Book Fair – more volunteers needed and sign-up available on SignupGenius.com
6. Chili Cook Off Discussion – it was discussed to have classes do projects for auction at the Chili Cook Off since
there wasn’t a Silent Auction this year at the Fall Fest.
