I grew up in Minnesota and attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, graduating in 1991 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I came out to Denver right after graduation and fell in love with Colorado. I taught 4th grade in Denver Public Schools for a time and did alot of substitute teaching for Cherry Creek and Englewood School Districts.

I really enjoy working with younger children and decided to try teaching pre-kindergarten. I have worked at Bethany Early Childhood Center in Englewood, and St. Jame's Preschool in Littleton. I met my husband Matt in Colorado and we have three children who attend Notre Dame - Emma, Sara and Christopher. After a ten year break from teaching to stay at home with our children, I am so thrilled to be back in the classroom again!
