FallFest at Notre Dame Catholic School takes place in late September or early October and is the only major fund raiser for the school. Students obtain pledges for the Leprechaun Stampede and enjoy a carnival on the school grounds after the run. Parents, grandparents and parishioners of Notre Dame are also invited to join in the run and carnival.

The Leprechaun Stampede is a 3K run that takes place in the neighborhood around Notre Dame Church. Two weeks before students participate in the run, they gather pledges from friends and family. Money from these pledges is used to provide students with supplemental educational programs through the Nature and Science Museum and Colorado University Science.

After the Leprechaun Stampede families make their way to the Notre Dame Field where a carnival has been set up. At the carnival, there are games to play, great food to eat and other activities to enjoy. Also taking place during the carnival is a chili/salsa cook-off with participants via for the title of best chili and salsa.

FallFest is a fun day for students, parents and faculty, but more importantly, the proceeds from the Leprechaun Stampede and carnival are used for students in preschool through 8th grade.
