  • Our 28 teachers are all certified or licensed, and have a combined total of 529 years experience teaching children. The average teacher has 18 years experience in teaching.
  • All have bachelor's degrees; nine have master's degrees; one has a PhD.
  • On the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS), Notre Dame students consistently score higher than students across the nation.
  • Over 80% of ND students attend Catholic or private high schools.
  • Each day begins with all school prayer led by the principal.
  • Religion classes are taught daily to all students in each grade.
  • Traditional Catholic values and practices pervade the school day and year.
  • Liturgical celebrations are an integral part of the life of the school.
  • Class sizes are capped at 25 students for lower grades, and at 30 for upper grades.
  • Paraprofessionals can be found in each classroom in the lower grades and are shared in each grade in the upper grades.
